Our First Christmas Card – In the Mailbox

Our first Christmas card arrived in the box today. I made the DD JYC page so that I can write by hand on it and add some of the stamps from the envelopes that come in the mail.

Internet Down

It just went off yesterday at 2.50 pm. Just as I was about to skype my dad for his birthday. 😦

We had a great day today though, even without the internet.

Then tonight my prize from the Bind It All Spring contest arrived in the mail. Two 6 x 6 coveralls and a set of antique silver O’wires.

aal44I can see some cute projects coming up. Thanks again to Zutter.

What a lovely way for the day to finish.

I had a lot of requests wanting more information about my control center made with the Zutter Bind it All. It is a big project and the tutorials will be in a couple of parts.

Without further ado – Here is the Control Center Tutorial Part 1

Bind It All Project

You may remember a little while back I made an All About Me – Right Here Right Now project over at the Digichick for the March monthly workshop.

I entered it in the Zutter Bind It All Spring Challenge just on a whim. It is not something I have ever done before as I usually don’t put myself out there like that.

Well imagine my surprise today when I opened my mail and a friend had emailed to tell me I was on the blog and had won a prize.

They were only giving away one prize but they loved my little minibook so much that they gave me one too.

You can check it all out here on this post over at the Bind It All blog

The lady who won did a wonderful job on her address book. Being a quilter I was entralled by her entry. The other entries were all so inspiring too.

Maybe I will have a go at more of these kind of things – but only for the fun of it.
