Been super busy with all manner of fun things – and work. 🙂
Just a couple of my pages for the Christmas album I am doing.
Hand journaling will document our day #12 and traditions and the decorating process this year.
Today a sand storm blew in. It is likely to last a day or two so it looks like my birthday and 25th wedding anniversary could be a bit overcast and dreary tomorrow.
We are planning a day out with haircuts and shopping for winter shoes for the girls. Maybe grab some lunch somewhere.
I couldn’t resist this layout title. Let it Sand, Let it Sand, Let is Sand.
Our first Christmas card arrived in the box today. I made the DD JYC page so that I can write by hand on it and add some of the stamps from the envelopes that come in the mail.
Are you doing Journal Your Christmas with Shimelle or perhaps a December Daily album with Ali E? This year I am going to try a combination really. Taking from the prompts and doing my own thing. It may be 25 days. It may go through to the new year. Who knows?
Not putting any pressure on myself to get this done. 🙂 I do like looking back on my big JYC completed album from 2008 . Not to mention need to finish 2009.
But this month calls!
Just going to take my photo’s, do some journaling and print out some digi pages. Perhaps adding some embellies as I go along. Simple pages in a 5 x 7 format so I can print two on a letter size paper from Red River Paper and then make my own cover. The plan is for one page to be the scrapbook page with some handwritten journaling on it. The other side of the 2 page opening will be a photo for the day.
Sweet and simple. We’ll see??
Speaking of sweet, today was my youngest daughters birthday. So obviously that is the focus for today. This layout is showing both pages on a background. Once printed out I will add the journaling.
Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
