Friends celebrating 25 years of marriage deserve a hand made card don’t ya think? I do – and will be celebrating 25 years ourselves this year. Where that time has gone I have no idea…except for the sweet moments and sweet memories we have.
I used the card sketch from Sweet Sketch Sunday at The Sweetest Thing for this card. Everything is digi except the twill. The papers, sentiment tag, numbers and butterfly are all printed out and cut to size. The delicious kit is Pattiserie and is a collab from Sugarplum Paperie and Paislee Press. You can find it at the Digi Chick in the new releases coming on Thursday…lucky you getting a sneak peak at this pretty kit.
Edges were distressed and inked. I stuck two of the butterfly back to back so from the side it looks nice. Then layered all up with some 3D tape. The numbers were made by reducing the digi paper to quite small the layering it down over the 25. Then 3 layers of my cardstock stuck together before cutting the numbers out. I wanted these to stand out a bit and inking them up too just added to the dimension aimed for.
Of course I had to add a little bling. Twenty five years is silver so the little crystals add that extra something and look a little silver.
